Joyce Marie Lindley

Joyce Marie Lindley passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.  IU Health hospice house in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on May 24, 1947, in Paoli, Indiana to Charles and Pauline Weeks Pluris.  She married John “Jack” Lindley on June 1, 1966, and he survives.

She worked for two veterinary offices-Dr. LJ Gaudreau until he retired and then  Dr. Brad Cooper where she later retired.  She was a member of the Beech Gove Friends Meeting. Joyce loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed Gardening, taking cats and dogs to various nursing homes to share her love for animals with the residents.  Joyce also leaves behind her very spoiled Donkey Eli and horse Desi.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Dillman-Scott funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday May 2,2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home. (226 W. Campbell St. Paoli IN, 47454) Visitation will also be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.

Interment at the Beech Grove Cemetery immediately following funeral service.
