Joyce L. Babcock, 65, of Paoli Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Baptist Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born in Mitchell, Indiana on July 27, 1955 to Carl and Lucille Hopkins Leatherman. Joyce married Phillip Babcock on May 10, 1973 and he survives.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Carolyn Terrell, Wanda Holt, and Judy Jones, and brothers, Sonny Leatherman, and Harold Leatherman.

She worked at Wood Design, JSI, and Paoli Inc through the years. Joyce enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially, grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Monday, April 19, 2021 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home located at 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454. Interment will follow in the Stampers Creek Cemetery.

Meredith Jones will officiate.
