John Fraysure Deringer

John Fraysure Deringer, Jr ,67, of Paoli Indiana, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at IU Health Paoli Hospital, Paoli, IN.  He was born on March 25, 1955 in Louisville, KY to John Fraysure and Eula Mae Alsip Deringer, Sr.

He married Cathy Frances Stephenson on June 28, 1986 and she survives him.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Jewel Frances Yocum.

John worked as a manager and then board member of the Paoli Municipal Airport.

John was member of the First Baptist Church, Paoli. He was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and

left a legacy of faith in his family.

Granddaughter:    Carsyn Perry Deringer        Paoli, IN

Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive John Fraysure Deringer, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 9, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 116 Southeast First Street, Paoli, IN.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022, and 12:00-1:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, Paoli, IN.

Interment to follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.  Pastor Stephen Tate, John’s nephew, to officiate.
