Jerry Carmickle

Jerry Carmickle, 76 of Rushville, IN.  passed away Thursday  July 7, 2016, at Our Hospice Center in Columbus, IN.  He was born November 13, 1939, in New Albany, IN to Aden Carmickle and Bertha Eddleman  Carmickle.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert Carmickle,and three brothers. Jerry was a retired Baker and also head cook at the Bartholomew county youth center for many years. He was member of Masonic Lodge of Jackson County, IN and member of the 1st Christian Church in Columbus, IN. Survivors include: 1-Son: David Carmickle Clarksburg, IN 2-Brothers: Norman Carmickle Columbus, IN Doug Carmickle Paoli,  IN 1-Sister: Janice Stamm Bloomington, IN Also surviving Jerry Carmickle is thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial  Services will be 4:00 PM, with Masonic services to be held at 2 Pm By Paoli Masonic lodge #119 F&AM Saturday July 23, 2016 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home with Pastor Jarren Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery, Paoli, IN.  Visitation to be held Saturday July 23 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.  at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home 226 West Campbell Street Paoli, IN.
