Jeri Ann Smith Sprinkle Passed away September 26, 2026 at her daughter’s home in Paoli, Indiana, Jeri was born in Muncie, Indiana to parents Ivan Duane and Sharon Rose Ludwig Smith who both preceded her in death.

Jeri was, above all else, unapologetically Jeri.

True to her independent nature, she requested no service or showing. She wanted things done her way, right to the very end.

Jeri was a sister to 1, a mother to 4, a Nonnie to 10, and a friend to many.

She was quirky, funny, and always ready to tell an elaborate story - whether you had time to hear it or not. She had a gift for making ordinary moments memorable, and you never had to wonder where you stood with Jeri.

Her passion was rock collecting. Her favorite were Geodes, perhaps because they reminded her of herself: rough on the outside, with something unexpected and beautiful on the inside. They also reminded her of her childhood family farm, where some of her very best memories were made.

Jeri saw everyone as equal and stood fiercely by what she believed. She never pretended to be anyone other than herself, and honestly she wouldn't have known how.

She leaves behind memories, stories, laughter, and a whole lot of people who will miss her
