Jeffrey Lee McMahel

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee McMahel, 63, Paoli, IN passed away on May 28, 2026, at IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born October 10, 1962, in Paoli, Indiana to Gerald and Ruby Babcock McMahel, both of whom preceded him in death.

Jeff was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua McMahel.

Jeff was a member of the Paoli Masonic Lodge #119 F&AM, American Legion Post #133, and the Teamsters Local #135.

Jeff formerly worked at Essex Corp. in Orleans, IN. Then he worked as a Technician at Production Heating & Cooling out of Louisville, KY, where he eventually retired from.

Jeff found his greatest joy in the outdoors, whether he was riding his motorcycle, deer hunting on the family farm, camping, or spending time on the water jet skiing.
