Howard Lee Reed

Howard Lee Reed, 81, of Orleans, Indiana, passed away on December 21, 2025, at Paoli Health and Living Community. Howard was born in Stanford, Kentucky, to Howard and Mildred Faulkner Reed on April 17, 1944, and they both preceded him in death. He married Carmita Kay Rutherford on November 19, 1966, and she survives.

Howard was a member of the Orleans Church of the Nazarene, where he was a Trustee Board Member for many years. He was also a member of the Orleans, IN American Legion Post 69.

He was a Semi Truck Driver and drove for Perkins Transport for 20 years and Halls Brothers Trucking in Orleans, IN for 5 years.

Howard was a US Army National Guard Veteran.

He was a member of the Orleans High School Class of 1962.
