Hilda “Betty” Magner Jackson, 92 years of age of Marion, IN formerly of Paoli, IN passed away Saturday at 11:18 PM, May 11, 2013 at Marion General Hospital. She was born January 14,1921 in Fillmore, IN to Ezra Newton & Ruby Eugene Evans Kersey. She married Leland G Magner December 27, 1943 and He preceded her in death July 29, 1975. She then married Charles W Jackson April 1, 1978 He preceded her in death August 6, 2002.

Owned & Operated Bettys Beauty Shop in Paoli for 32 years.

Member Paoli Friends Meeting, Paoli BPW, Paoli O E S, and the Red Hats.

Preceded in death by 2 Brothers Basil Eugene Kersey, Hugh Wright Kersey. 4 Sisters Mary Icelone Koch, Helen Margaret Beaman, Vera Mae Rossock, Doris Jane Richey.

1 Son          David Magner & Wife Julie                Marion, IN

1 Sister           Verginia Leah Hardwick                Greencastle, IN

1 Grandson  Aaron Magner & Wife Mary                Paoli, IN

2 Great-Grandchildren Noah & Corinne Magner

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Paoli Friends Meeting. Pastor Dan Smetzer officiating.

Interment to follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.   Friends may call 11:00 AM Wednesday until the time of service, at the Paoli Friends Meeting, 301 North Gospel St, Paoli, IN.
