Helen F Halbert

Helen F Halbert, 91, of Paoli, IN passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Paoli Health and Living. She was born in Chambersburg, IN to Herbert F.  and Maude Letitia Caplinger Dillon.

She married Irvin Edward Halbert on November 21, 1942.

She was a teacher at Stone City Academy in Bedford,  French Lick, Hardinsburg,  Shoals, IN, Colorado Springs and Hartman, CO and Columbia SC.  She was also a charter member of the Greenbriar Holiness Church and attended Paoli Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by husband Irvin,  brother Herbert Franklin Dillon,  and 2 grandsons Nathaniel Bobbitt and Irvin John Palmer.

29 grandchildren,   18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday at Paoli Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bob England officiating.  Burial following at Lick Creek Friends Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, July 16 ^th at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, and from 9 AM until service time at the church on wednesday.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Special Olympics of Indiana.
