Harold Franklin Marlette, 93, of Paoli, passed Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Indiana University Health of Paoli.  He was born July 26, 1923 in Orange County, IN to Paul and Anise Owen Marlette.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He married Marjorie Hoar on May 26, 1946.

He was a retired school teacher for Green Valley Elementary, New Albany, IN. and taught several years at Paoli.

He was a member of Ham Radio Club of Orange County call number # K9JYA.

He was a US Navy W W II Veteran

Also, surviving Harold Franklin Marlette are 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Cremation was chosen.  Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.   Followed by Interment in the Mt Tabor Cemetery.    Visitation to be held Monday April 24, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell St, Paoli IN 47454.
