Greg A. Farlow, age 64, of Ponca City, OK passed away on September 2, 2024. He was born on Sept 3, 1959, in Salem, IN to the late Ed and Reba (Hawkins) Farlow. After Greg graduated from Paoli Jr/Sr High school in 1977, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University Southeast.
Greg married the love of his life Lesa (Qualkenbush) Farlow on June 28, 1981 They enjoyed traveling and visiting many places together prior to starting a family. During their 43 years of marriage they had 1 child, Greta. As a family they spent many weekends and vacations camping and visiting parks.
After graduating from college Greg joined the family business managing the rough mill, dry kilns, and day-to-day production at Indiana Handle Company (IHC). He served several terms on the Orange County Council. Later, he worked for the French Lick Resort and Casino in French Lick, IN. He was a member of the Old National Bank Board of Directors for several years.
Greg was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ponca City,OK. He was a member of the Paoli Masonic Lodge #119 F&AM and was a past Master of the lodge.
Greg was an avid quail and pheasant hunter and had bird dogs throughout the years as hunting companions. He shared that love with his daughter. He also enjoyed golfing and other outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Reba. He is survived by his loving wife, Lesa. Daughter Greta (Matt) Kubik of Newkirk, OK, grandson Kade and granddaughter Taylor Kubik. Brother Brad (Tammy) Farlow of Wabash, IN. Sister-in-laws Marla (Jerry) Richardson, Etta (Jim) Begle, and Cheri (Mitch) Clary, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services to be held 11:00 AM Friday September 13,2024 at the Dillman-Scott funeral home 226 West Campbell Street Paoli, Indiana 47454 with interment to follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.
Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday September 12, 2024 and 9 AM until Service time Friday at the funeral home.
Masonic Services Thursday 6:00 PM
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Paoli United Methodist Church in memory of Greg.
