Glen D Carmichael 79 years of age of Paoli passed away Tuesday February 21, 2012 at IU Health Bedford Hospital. He was born July, 4, 1932 in Owensburg, Indiana to Harley and Mary Hudson Carmichael. Glen was a member of the Paoli Christian Church, an Army Veteran, worked as a route salesman for Bond Bread, Chesty, Toms and Charles Chips. He was a substance abuse counselor for the former Bedford Medical Center and he retired as manager of Paoli Municipal Airport. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Frieda Jackson and Nina Noel. Brother: George Carmichael

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. in Paoli with burial to follow in Community Cemetery. Pat Fahey will officiate.
Visitation will be held 5 – 8PM Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to the Orange County Humane Society. Online condolences can be made at wellmanfh.com
