Geneva Ruth White 86, of Chamois Missouri, passed away on Friday December 14, 2018 at University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.  She was born on August 25, 1932 in Aubert, Missouri a daughter of the late Henry and Cora (McKnight) Walker.  In 1951 she was united in marriage to Huel White in Gasconade County.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Huel and two sisters Dorothy Ames and Mary Jean Lindhorst.

Geneva worked for many years at Blanke Plastics in Hermann and as a part-time custodian for the Chamois School.  She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to garden, fish, and hunt for mushrooms.  She was very fond of her dogs.  Geneva loved spending time with her children and family.  She had been living at Westphalia Hills for the past two years and made many friends.

She is survived by her children:

Michael H. White of Chamois Missouri.

Glenda (Tim) Ferguson of Paoli, Indiana

Also surviving Geneva Ruth White are numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Millard Family Chapel in Chamois, Missouri with a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment will be held immediately following in Woods Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
