Everett Harvey Sturgis

Everett Harvey Sturgis JR, 74, of Paoli, IN, formerly of Linton, IN passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his home.

He was born in Covington, Ky on March 12, 1949, to Everett Madison and Mary Hunt Sturgis.

He married Diane Lynn Powell on October 22, 1976, and she precedes.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a Great grandson Albert Hamlett and brothers Charles, Thomas, and Paul Sturgis.

He was a Former United States Navy SeaBee during the Viet Nam conflict.

He was a carpenter for hire by trade and loved everything outdoors-hunting and fishing.

A member of the Linton VFW Post# 7118.

A memorial Service will be held at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN on Friday November 10, 2023, at 3:00 PM with visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM.
