Elwood "Woody" Underhill

Elwood “Woody” Underhill, 72, Paoli, passed away at 6:30 A.M. March 20, 2014, at his residence.  He was born October 3, 1941 in Orange County, to the late Elsworth and Dorothy Brown Underhill.  He married Virginia Sue Cook in July, 1968. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2011. He worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh. He was a member of the Powell Valley Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, 2 Brothers Terry and Michael, Sister Mary, 1 daughter Dotty, and 1 Grandson Nicholas Surviving are: 3 daughters:  Tammy Allen        English, IN Theresa Floyd Paoli, IN Liza Chatman   French Lick, IN 4 brothers:     David Underhill Mitchell, IN Charlie Underhill Mitchell, IN Larry Underhill   Indianapolis, IN Jimmy Underhill Indianapolis, IN 1 sister    Joyce Ann Shortridge    Indianapolis, IN Also surviving Elwood “Woody” Underhill are 3 Grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday on March 22, 2014 at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home with Larry Vinson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2014 and from 9:00 AM until time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.
