Elizabeth "Betty" (Doan) Blankenbaker

Elizabeth “Betty” Doan Blankenbaker, 87, of Paoli, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016, at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, IN. She was born on November 28, 1928 in Paoli, IN to Russell & Sarann Marie Busick Doan. She married Bruce Blankenbaker on October 10, 1950, and he survives. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Brothers Russell Lowell “Bub” Doan and Randall L Doan, and one sister, Geneva Doan Lankford. She was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and owned and operated Betty’s Machine Quilting for 32 years. Survivors include: Spouse: Bruce Blankenbaker Paoli, IN 2 Daughters: Dianna (John) Breitweiser Paoli, IN Rita (Joe) White Paoli, IN Also surviving Betty are 3 grand-daughters: Rachelle Clark Harding, Andria Jewell, and Josie White, 1 Grandson: Randall Blankenbaker, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Funeral Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home with interment will follow at Paoli Community Cemetery, Paoli, IN. Visitation to be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 11 AM until the time of service on Thursday, at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home 226 West Campbell Street Paoli, IN.
