Dorothy Lee Moore, 93, of Paoli Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at IU Health, Paoli. She was born on January 22, 1928, in Paoli, Indiana to John and Margaret Sanders Kimmel. Dorothy married John Henry Moore on December 26, 1944, and he preceded her in death.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas Moore, daughters, Mary Lee Jones and Peggy Jane Blevins, and brothers, John, Charles, and James Kimmel, and Alfred “Doc” Moore

She was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church. Dorothy formerly worked as a Certified Nurse Aid in Home Health Care. She enjoyed dancing, going to yard sales, and spending time with family.

20-Grandchildren, 49-Great-Grandchildren, and 20-Great-Great Grandchildren also survive Dorothy Lee Moore.

Cremation was chosen.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2022. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, until time of service on Friday, at the Dillman Scott Funeral Home, located at 226 W. Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454.
