Donnie Dale Tuell

Donnie Dale Tuell, 75, of Paoli, IN passed away on August 11, 2026, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 1,1950, in Paoli, Indiana to Russell Lowell and Betty Ruth Dillard Tuell, both of whom preceded him in death. Donnie married Gwendolyn Kay Benefiel on June 27, 1997, and she survives.

Donnie was also preceded in death by his sisters: Shelia Jean Tuell and Trina Lynn Tuell

Donnie was a member of Paoli High School Class of 1969

He was a member of the Dogwood Community Church in Paoli, Indiana, and the American Legion Post #69 in Orleans, Indiana.

Donnie retired from Paoli Inc. Formerly, he worked at Carpenter Body Works, Whitney Tool & Die, and the Post Offices in Paoli, French Lick, and Bedford, Indiana.

Donnie was a Veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War.

Donnie found joy in the simple pleasures of life - time spent with his grandkids, time on the golf course or softball field, and the excitement of sports of every kind.

Above all, his heart belonged to his church, his family, and the grandchildren he treasured so dearly.

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive Donnie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2026, at Dillman Scott Funeral Home. (226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454)

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026, and on Friday starting at 9:00 AM, until the time of the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow Funeral service at Stampers Creek Cemetery.
