Donnia Sue Carnes-Sinn

Donnia Sue Carnes-Sinn, 86, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at IU Health Hospital in Paoli, IN. She was born June 7, 1939, in Glasgow, KY to James Harlan Glass and Viola Moss Crews Glass, both of whom preceded her.

She married Amos Carnes May 14, 1956, and he preceded her in death July 24, 1991.

She married Omar Sinn February 14, 2001, and he preceded her February 7, 2013.

She was also preceded by many siblings and her daughter, Anetta Hackney.

Donnia was a member of the French Lick Church of the Nazarene and the Paoli Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time with her family.

Donnia worked at the Pluto Corporation for 30 years and eventually retired from the company. She also worked at the French Lick Hotel.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life and Dinner will be held Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paoli Senior Citizens Center (119 S. W. 2nd St. Paoli, IN 47454)
