Dennis Eugene Jones 84 years old, FrenchLick formerly of Paoli, In left this world on Friday, April 27, 2012 to rejoice in heaven and be reunited with his loved ones. He passed away at the IU Medical Health Center in Bloomington ,In. after a brief but courageous battle.

Dennis was born on February 14,1928 to John Daniel and Sarah Ellen Jones of Martin County, In .

He joined the Navy August 2, 1948 and received the World War ll Victory Medal.

He served six years and was honorably discharged in 1954.

He was married to Wanda Jean Lawless from1952-1973 and had three children, Steve, Pat and Sharon.

Dennis later married Elsa Tuell and they had 24 years together until her death in 2003.

He attended many different churches in his walk with his Lord, but 2 were close to

his heart, the West Baden Nazarene and the Natchy Church. Christ touched many hearts through Dennis and he was a living testament to Jesus. He will be remembered most for his

love of his Lord, his generous heart, and his devotion to his family and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsa Tuell Jones, his parents, 3 sisters Blanch, Rosemary and Hazel. 3 brothers Herbert, Riley and Jim as well as many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his children Steve Jones and wife Christine of Paoli, Pat Jones and husband David of Bedford and Sharon Quinn and husband Marty of French Lick. 2 sisters Clara and Irene, as well as his grandchildren Christopher Jones, Scott Jones, Victoria Laudeman, Will Jones , Stacy Kuebler and Lindsey Kee. Along with his great-grandchildren , Alexander Jones, Keeghan Jones, Ashton Jones, Adam Jones, Lilly Laudeman, Jake Kuebler, Brian Kee and Allison Kee

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Flowers or contribution may be made directly to Sulfur Creek Bible Church of French Lick, Natchez Church of Martin County, Church of Christ of Prospect and West Baden Nazarene. Interment will be at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, In. Dillman-Scott Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
