Dennis Michael Easterday, beloved father, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully on

August 11, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born on January 13, 1951, Mike (as he was known to many) lived a life filled with love,

laughter, and the roar of engines. For the past 33 years, he shared his life with his devoted

partner, Kim Ransom.

Mike was a proud father to his son, Justin (Ashley) and cherished grandfather to Landon,

Maddigan, and Harrison. He was also a guiding presence to Gaby, who holds a special

place in his heart. Kim’s children Regan (Marcel) and their two children, Derek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and June Easterday, and his brother, Ron

Schuetter. He is survived by his half-sister Rochelle, as well as a loving extended family and

countless friends.

A lifelong fan of the Indianapolis 500 and all things racing, Mike’s passion for the sport was

as steady and enduring as his love for the people around him. He will be remembered for

his quick wit, easy smile, and the way he made everyone feel welcome in his presence.

In keeping with his wishes, Mike will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held

later this year, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and

memories.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved. “Just ONE more!”
