Delores J. Long, 90, of Paoli, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Orleans, Indiana on January 24, 1931, to Bert and Clarice Hall Hackney. Delores married Charles F. Long on December 8, 1951, and he preceded her in death.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Fred Hackney, and son, Johnny Long.

She was a member of East View Baptist Church. Delores enjoyed reading, gardening, spending time with family, known as mamaw Long, and her church, She retired from Work Force One and was a bookkeeper for various businesses.

Funeral Services will be Friday, September 3, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home located at 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli IN 47454.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021, and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Friday. Interment will be in the Paoli Community Cemetery.
