Danny K (Chigger) Newlin

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Danny “Chigger” Newlin, 59 of West Baden, passed away Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Springs Valley Meadow, French Lick, IN.   He was born February 17, 1958 in Paoli, IN to Lester Newlin and Ida Belle Kirk Newlin.  He married Linda Stevens on April 28, 1978.    He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Bernard Kirk and Steve “Herk” Newlin. He was a former truck driver and mechanic for Hughes Paving in French Lick, IN. Survivors include: His Wife: Linda Newlin, West Baden, IN. 2-Sons: Danny Dean Newlin, Dubois, IN. Jeremy Newlin, West Baden, IN. 2-Daughters: Megan Ball, French Lick, IN. Courtney Newlin, Montgomery, IN. 4-Brothers: Ronald Butch Newlin, Paoli, IN. John Newlin, Salem, IN. Jerry “Goose” Newlin Shoals, IN. Terry “Beeb” Newlin Shoals, IN. 4-Sisters: Linda Kay Delph, Buffalo, IN. Karey “Sally” Bergman, Shoals, IN. Brenda Dillard, Paoli, IN. Mary McFarland Paoli, IN. Also surviving Danny “Chigger” Newlin are eight grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday December 17, 2017 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.  With Randy Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery, Paoli, IN.  Visitation to be held Saturday December 16, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and from 9 AM until the time of service on Sunday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.
