Conrad Lee “Connie” Minton, 88, of Orleans, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2026, after a short illness. He was born into a family which now numbers more than 300, on November 22, 1937, in Paoli, Indiana to Noble H. Minton and Roxie L. Dailey Minton, both of whom preceded him in death. Connie was the sixth of thirteen children born to Noble and Roxie. He married Wanda C. Toliver on March 19, 1958, and together they raised three children.
Connie worked in the auto parts business starting at Phillip’s Auto for ‘Ma’ Phillips and for General Auto before opening his own parts store, Mintworth Auto, with his good friend Jim Haworth. He owned and operated Mintworth with Jimmy and their spouses until his retirement in 2007 at the age of 70.
He was a long-time member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Orleans, IN.
Connie and Wanda enjoyed vacationing in Panama City Beach, FL. They were “Snowbirds”, wintering there after their retirement.
Connie was proud of his Dailey chair and rocker collection made by his mother Roxie’s family in Orange County, Indiana. He took pride in refinishing them and gifting them to his kids, grandkids, and extended family.
