Clyde Lane Barnett

Clyde Lane Barnett, 85, Paoli, IN passed away November 10, 2024, at Springs Valley Meadows.  Clyde was born to Frank and Mary Lane Barnett on April 10, 1939.  He married Jane Carwile on November 16, 1957. The couple had two daughters Pam Barnett Bond and Tammy Barnett.

Clyde was a 1957 graduate of Paoli High School. He retired as a Vice-President of Orange County Bank after serving for 38 years. He was involved in the National Exchange Club of Paoli and the Kiwanis Club of Paoli and served as President of both organizations.

Clyde was a member of the Prospect Church of Christ.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Barnett, brother Gary Barnett, and daughter Tammy Barnett.

Survivors Include: wife Jane Barnett, daughter Pam Bond, and grandson Alex Bond of Paoli, IN., granddaughter Erin Bond and great grandson Simon Crain of West Lafayette, IN., brothers Wayne (Carolyn) Barnett, Frank (Linda) Barnett of Paoli, IN, sisters Nancy (Glen) Black of Springfield, KY and Lynn (Harold) Williams of Brighton, CO, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024, and 9:00 AM until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at The Paoli Community Cemetery.
