Clifford Gowin, 90 years of age of Orleans passed away Sunday, October 02, 2011 at the Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born July 28, 1921 in Springfield, Kentucky to Adam and Nancy Gowin. Clifford was the former owner of Gowin Equipment and Sales Inc., a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a WWII Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife; Vivian Jean Gowin, Brother; Pete Gowin and a sister; Polly Young.

Sons: Bill Gowin of Evansville, Indiana
Lee Gowin of Orleans, Indiana
Daughter: Susan Adams of Orleans, Indiana
4 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. in Paoli with burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. American Legion Post 69 will provide military honors. Pastor Tom Bostic will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 PM Wednesday and after 10 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at wellmanfh.com.
