Chester Ray Massengale, 89, of Paoli Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Monday, November 1, 2021, at his residence.  He was born on September 14, 1932, in Somerset, Kentucky to Robert Lee and Nellie Yanders Massengale. Chester married Geraldine Sandlin on April 17, 1982.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents, and 8 siblings.

He was member of the Paoli Friends Meeting. Chester was former employee of Dr. Shoals for 14 years. He was the CEO for Miller Shoe Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. Chester came to Paoli in 1983 to manage B&B Shoe Company until the company moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he retired in 1998. He enjoyed golfing, softball, and doing chores on his farm. Chester was also a member of the Shoe & Leather Club.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the Stampers Creek Cemetery. We ask that everyone practice social distancing and appreciate your cooperation.
