Charles Jackson “Jack” Ray, 82 of Paoli, Indiana, passed away Sunday April 12, 2020 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington Indiana. He was born March 6, 1938 in Paoli, Indiana to Rex Harold and Sylvia Padgett Ray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Rex Ray, and sister Marjorie Andis.

Charles loved roller skating and was the owner of a skating rink in English and Shoals Indiana. He retired from Moon Freight Lines and worked most of his life as a truck driver or on the pipeline.

His favorite saying is “Tomorrow will be a better day”.

Uncle Billy Padgett, Aunt Madge Padgett and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive Charles Jackson “Jack” Ray.

Cremation was chosen.

Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
