Benjamin "Benny" Walls

Benjamin “Benny” Walls, 84, of Paoli, Indiana passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Indiana. He was born in Paoli, Indiana on February 27, 1941, to Elijah Walls and Maye Enlow Walls.  He married Donna Lankford on December 16, 1965, and she preceded him August 6, 2023.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Donna, parents, Brothers Jimmy and Kenny. Sisters Emma, Jeanie, Alberta, Frances and Helen.

Benny graduated from the Paoli High School class of 1960. He was a US Army Veteran, a member of the Paoli VFW post# 8302, also a member of the Fredericksburg Church of Christ and attended the Paoli Church of Christ.

He retired from the Operating Engineers Union local 841 Terre Haute, Indiana as a Heavy Equipment operator, working for over 30 years.

He enjoyed traveling, Hunting, Fishing and spending time with his family and granddaughter.

Also surviving Benny is a granddaughter, Mackenzie Walls.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2025 at Dillman Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN.  Visitation will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM and Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9:00-11:00 AM also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery, Paoli, IN.
