Benjamin Harold Minton

Dillman-Scott Funeral Home Harold Minton, 90 of Paoli, Indiana passed away Wednesday June 24, 2020 at Paoli Health & Living. He was born September 4, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI to Benny Harold and Lucille Abel Minton. Harold married Joy Dunbar November 6, 1954 and she preceded him in death.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joy Minton.

Harold was a member of Paoli United Methodist Church, Paoli Kiwanis, Orange County Habitat for Humanity, Trustee for the Sol Strauss Board and Gideons International.

During the Vietnam War, Harold was a Red Cross Family Liaison. He retired from Orange County Bank after 36 years, retiring as Trust Officer.

He served in the US Army Medical Corps.

Harold was an avid Paoli Rams and IU fan.

Surviving Harold are his greatest pride and joy, Grandsons Josh (Samantha Sergent) Flick of Paoli, Ben (Molly) Flick of New Palestine, Indiana, Ty, Davis, and Clay Minton of Paoli, Indiana and Great-Grandchildren Gabe and Lydia Flick of New Palestine, Indiana and Benjamin Flick of Chicago, IL.

Funeral Services will be Sunday June 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Paoli United Methodist Church located at 794 E State Rd 56, Paoli, Indiana 47454. Visitation will Saturday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Paoli United Methodist Church and from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday. Interment will follow in the Paoli Town Cemetery.
