Anita Piper

Anita Piper, 89, of Paoli, passed away on December 6, 2024, at Paoli health & Living.  She was born to Rodolphus and Opal Jones Hamilton on July 29, 1935.

Anita was preceded by:

Her parents, two brothers Jack Slayton and Ronnie Joe Hamilton, sister Vivian Slayton, and three sons:  Kerry, Randall, and William (Shorty) Piper.

She was a member of Lick Creek Friends Church and Paoli Senior Citizens Center, where she had served as president.  She graduated from Paoli High School class of 1954.

Anita worked at Indiana Handle Company and then worked in the home health field.

She enjoyed dancing and playing cards at the Paoli Senior Citizens Center.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation 4:00 PM-7:00 PM Monday December 9, 2024 at the Dillman-Scott funeral home.

Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN with interment to follow at the Paoli community cemetery.
