Alberta (Combs) Dewitt

Alberta Combs DeWitt, 82 years of age of Paoli, passed away Wednesday at 4:05 PM, November 21, 2012 at IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington, IN.  She was born June 23, 1930 in Millstone, KY to Rheuda Combs and Stella Reynolds Combs. She was married to George H DeWitt on December 22, 1951 and he passed away March 2, 1985.    Alberta was a member of  Eastview Baptist Church of Paoli, the Eastern Star Chapter and  formerly employed at the United Laboratories of  Louisville, Ky.

Preceded in death by parents, husband 3 brothers Fred,  Carlie and James Combs, 3 sisters Marie Morgan, Renee Johnson and Mildred Combs

Survivors Include:

1 Son               Thomas Michael DeWitt            Burlington, Mass.

1 Daughter       Patricia Lynn Martin                  Bloomington, In.

1 Brother          Arthur “Powder” Combs            Louisville, Ky.

1 Sister             Lorene Pagano                         Greensburg, Pa.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November27, 2012 at the Eastview Baptist Church in Paoli, IN with Greg Strother officiating.

Internment to follow at the Stampers Creek Cemetery.  Friends may call 4 PM -8 PM Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN.
