Ralph Edward Essex, 69 of Paoli passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his home after an extended illness.   He was born on April 29, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana to Jed Essex Jr and Marvesa Keesling Essex.  He married Evelyn Snook on September 14, 1996.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother David Essex.
He retired from Delco Remy in Anderson, Indiana.
He was a U.S. Marine and Vietnam War Veteran and his services earned him 2 Purple Hearts.
He loved to spend his time camping and fishing.

Also surviving Ralph Edward Essex, are eleven grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
