Linda R. (Longest) Godbey Rickenbaugh

Linda R. Godbey Rickenbaugh, 72, of Paoli, Indiana passed away Tuesday December 25, 2018 at her home.   She was born on November 15, 1946 in Paoli, Indiana to Felix Longest and Ethel Pearl Hankins.  She married Melvin Rickenbaugh on November 7, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen Godbey, four brothers Chuck, Norman, Wendall and Bob Longest,  four sisters Julia Jones, Louise Tuell, Claudetta “Sissy” Clark, and Nancy Meyer.

She worked as a former cook for the White Pines and several other restaurants.

She was a member of Simpson Chapel Church in Marengo, Indiana.

She loved to dance and sing and enjoyed her family and friends.

                Ricky Cassidy and Rhea,                 Paoli, Indiana

1-Daughter:

                Tiffany Keifner,                                  California

1-Sister:

                Shirley Palmer,                                  Dunlap, Tennessee

      Also surviving Linda R. Godbey Rickenbaugh, are one grandson Michael Holmes of Paoli, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Cassidy officiating.  Interment will follow in the Stampers Creek Cemetery.  Visitation to be held Friday December 28, 2018 from 4 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, Indiana.
